When viewing this site, looking at stationery and business card you may have noticed the logo below. It is an original idea of my husband but reflects my feeling towards birth and the feminine. It is composed of two intersecting ouroboros. The two ouroboros form an infinity symbol and in doing so forms a Vesica piscis a christian symbol that also infers the feminine. The Vesica Piscis. Two interlocking circles form the Yoni or Vulva of the Goddess and the intersection of the heads of the snake form a diamond akin to the clitoris. The overall image therefore reflects a spiritual, physical and sexual representation of the circle of life.
The ouroboros (/ˌjʊərəˈbɒrəs/[2]; /ʊəˈrɒbərəs/[3]; Greek: οὐροβόρος) is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. often taken to symbolize introspection, the eternal return or cyclicality,[4] especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself. It also represents the infinite cycle of nature's endless creation.
