Alcohol in pregnancy. A review after St. Patricks day.
​More info HERE. Alcohol in pregnancy can is a cause of great concern for many women. It is made worse by degrees of mis-information that they may be subjected to. 
Many women conceive at or around a time when alcohol has been consumed. Before the pregnancy identifies itself and or confirmed normal alcohol consumption would have taken place. This is not uncommon but fills women with a retrospective guilt. It is so common that there is a modicum of reassurance that whilst acknowledging it is sub-optimal and if planning to conceive the cessation of alcohol is recommended it appears to have minimal implications in the overall pregnancy when this has not been the case. The anxiety itself can itself potentiate more concern than something which cannot be altered.

There has been much debate recently regarding the validity of the upcoming changes to pap smears and identifying cervical cancer. I understand many women are concerned, especially with the recent misinformation. Hopefully this information will help.
